No, we do not make tiles. We focus on curating and selling high-quality sets from a variety of reputable brands, ensuring you get the best options on the market.
Which Mahjong tile brands do you carry?
We proudly sell sets from great brands like Oh My Mahjong, Peace Love Mahjong, The Mahjong House, and more! We are constantly on the hunt for new, small, and women-owned brands to feature.
What is the focus of your Mahjong classes?
Our classes are designed to teach you the game using National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules. We ensure every student learns the official, most common way to play.
How do you select your instructors?
We vet all of our instructors thoroughly to ensure they are experienced, knowledgeable, and effective teachers, maintaining a high standard of instruction for all our students.
Do I need to buy an NMJL card for class?
No! We have NMJL cards available for borrowing during classes. You can also purchase your own NMJL card from us, which comes in a protective plastic sleeve.
What is The Mahj House Gallery?
Our physical space doubles as a vibrant art gallery, currently featuring and selling the artwork of talented artist Adriana Oxford. You can view and purchase her pieces during your visit.
Can I pick up my online order at Mahj House?
Yes! All mats, tiles, racks, and accessories purchased online are available for pick-up at the Mahj House location. We'll let you know when your order is ready!
